• RedDoorz strengthens assistance for thousands of property partners through education regarding Business Identification Numbers (NIB), Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (KBLI), and licensing through the OSS system. Collaborating with the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM, this initiative aims to help partners understand regulatory developments and improve compliance and sustainability of accommodation businesses.

Jakarta, July 30, 2026 – As accommodation industry governance continues to evolve and business licensing is increasingly implemented through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system, business owners need to understand and comply with applicable licensing requirements, including obtaining a Business Identification Number (NIB) and ensuring that the Indonesian Standard Industrial Classification (KBLI) is aligned with their business activities.

As a multi-brand hospitality and accommodation technology platform in Southeast Asia, RedDoorz is taking an active role in supporting its property partners in preparing for these regulatory developments. Through a socialization program featuring the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM), RedDoorz provided an overview of NIB, KBLI, and the business licensing process through the OSS system.

This initiative is part of RedDoorz’s commitment to helping property partners understand business licensing requirements so they can operate their businesses legally, professionally, and sustainably. In addition to providing information on regulatory developments, RedDoorz also opened a consultation space for partners who require assistance in fulfilling their licensing requirements.

With more than 4,100 property partners across 257 cities in Indonesia, RedDoorz understands that regulatory changes remain a challenge, particularly for small and medium-sized accommodation businesses. Many property owners still require guidance on the NIB issuance process, aligning KBLI with their business activities, including mapping from KBLI 2020 to KBLI 2025, as well as various other technical requirements.

Mohit Gandas, Country Director of RedDoorz Indonesia, said that regulatory compliance is one of the key foundations for building a professional and sustainable accommodation industry.

“Regulatory changes require close collaboration between the government and industry players. Therefore, RedDoorz not only provides information to its partners but also brings regulators directly into the discussion so that property owners can gain an accurate understanding while having the opportunity to discuss various challenges they face in fulfilling their licensing requirements,” said Mohit.

RedDoorz’s commitment is in line with the appreciation expressed by Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, through a congratulatory video message during RedDoorz’s 11th anniversary celebration. In her message, the Minister of Tourism expressed her appreciation to RedDoorz’s partners who have been operating their accommodation businesses in accordance with applicable regulations.

“Specifically, I would also like to express my gratitude to RedDoorz’s partners who have fulfilled their business licensing requirements and continue to remain committed to implementing accommodation business governance in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. This compliance is essential to building a tourism industry that is orderly, high-quality, safe, comfortable, and sustainable,” said Widiyanti Putri Wardhana.

Through collaboration with the government and this series of socialization programs, RedDoorz hopes that more property partners will understand the importance of complying with business licensing requirements. In addition to providing legal certainty, such compliance also plays a role in increasing consumer trust and strengthening business competitiveness amid the increasingly digital transformation of the tourism industry.

Going forward, RedDoorz will continue to expand various initiatives for property partners, ranging from regulatory education, operational digitalization, and service quality improvement to business development. Through this approach, RedDoorz is committed to continuously supporting property owners in strengthening their business readiness while contributing to a more orderly, high-quality, and sustainable accommodation industry in Indonesia.
