• RedDoorz actively supports educational development by sharing industry-level digital expertise with Indonesian students through practical campus programs.

Jakarta, May 20, 2026 – Based on a release from the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) covering 2022–2025, Indonesia will need at least nine million digital professionals by 2030. Along with technological developments, including artificial intelligence (AI), the demand for digital talent in Indonesia is estimated to reach 600,000 people each year. The government has also acknowledged a gap between the demand for and availability of digital talent.

Against this backdrop, RedDoorz, a leading multi-brand hospitality and accommodation technology platform in Southeast Asia, organized the Kuliah Praktisi program as part of the company’s contribution to supporting the development of young Indonesian talent. The program provides practice-based learning for active university students from various disciplines related to the digital economy, with learning materials delivered directly by practitioners or mentors who are active RedDoorz employees.

Through this program, students gain insights into digital marketing, marketing communications, social commerce, and hotel management, which are at the core of RedDoorz’s business. The program also provides hands-on experience in digital business practices through various company initiatives, including the RedSeller program.

“To date, 20 universities have participated in the Kuliah Praktisi program with RedDoorz, with a total of 361 students divided across four batches who have participated,” said Ratih Wiyanti Gatari, Regional Head Sales at RedDoorz.

Ratih also added that the program runs for 4–6 months, with course materials tailored to industry needs. These include data analysis, graphic design, copywriting, sales and marketing, as well as a final project and visits to RedDoorz properties to strengthen classroom learning.

“The program begins with online learning focused on digital marketing and digital business, followed by sales call and flyering projects to develop skills in graphic design, videography, and marketing communications. Participants then work on case studies in the property sector to strengthen their communication and management skills, before concluding with a final project as the program’s final output,” Ratih added.

Muhammad Bintang Darma, a student from Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA) who has completed the program, acknowledged that he gained valuable experience directly from practitioners in the hospitality and digital marketing fields. “I really appreciate the existence of this program. It is highly applicable for active university students because we not only gain knowledge but also hands-on experience in a professional and supportive work environment, particularly in hotel management and digital marketing. I hope this experience will become valuable preparation when I eventually enter the workforce,” said the Batch One participant.

Recognizing the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and industry players in improving the capacity of Indonesia’s domestic human resources, RedDoorz will continue to expand the program by partnering with more higher education institutions, both public and private, from various regions across Indonesia.

“Indonesia has one of the largest talent pools in Southeast Asia, while RedDoorz has more than 4,300 property partners across all of its operating markets. We believe this collaboration can create a positive impact, both for developing the digital skills of young Indonesian talent and for the growth of our business,” Ratih concluded.
